This 1976 Harley Davidson FLH along with the ?ˆ?Bear Fink?ˆ? was modified and built by artists Mark Willis and Bob Stewart Jr of  the Grants Pass area.  

The artists  ?ˆ?endowed their bear with plastered back lips. a tongue flapping in the breeze and oversized pointy teeth?ˆ? making it apparent that his name should be ?ˆ?Bear Fink?ˆ? - a take off on Big Daddy ?ˆ?Ed?ˆ? Roth?ˆ™s Rat Fink from the 50?ˆ™s and 60?ˆ™s.

?ˆ?Bear Fink?ˆ? is part of the ?ˆ?Wild Bunch?ˆ? Bear Motorcycle Gang. created in and built for the small community of Grants Pass. OR. in the Siskiyou Mountains.  

There were a total of 17 bears in the ?ˆ?Wild Bunch?ˆ?. all built on top of custom built Harley Davidson motorcycles.   These  gang members were called ?ˆ?Iron Bear?ˆ?. ?ˆ?The Bearinator?ˆ?. nbsp; ?ˆ?Bearik Estrada?ˆ?. nbsp; ?ˆ?Bear Fink?ˆ?. ?ˆ?Women of the Wild?ˆ?. ?ˆ?Oooga Booga?ˆ? (Tiki Bear). nbsp; ?ˆ?Monumental Bear?ˆ?. ?ˆ?Cowboy Bear?ˆ?. nbsp; and a few others. These exquisite art pieces were part of an annual ?ˆ?Bearfest?ˆ?. celebrated in the Grants Pass area.

We have not made any attempt to start or run the bike.   Any parts that were removed from the bike prior to the artists working on them come with it.   There could be some parts missing.  The bike may require repairs or servicing prior to operating it. should that be necessary.  

This bike. along with the ?ˆ?Bear Fink?ˆ?. represents Americana very well.   The bike with the bear would make the ultimate center piece for a restaurant. bank lobby. general store. clothing store window. etc.   The cost of the building of the bike and the bear was enormous. this bike will only go up in value with time.   This is a one of a kind piece. no other bike like it exists.
