Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster

Here we have for sale a nice fairly original Ironhead sportster. The original  exhaust would have been a two in to one with a big diameter silencer but this has long gone. the headers are new and the silencers are standard but have been opened out a bit and give a nice sound without being offensive.

The air filter is an after market item as is the rear light.

The handlebars are XLX style and are a lot easier to live with than the curly buck horns that would have been on it from new.

Other than that. everything else is as it came from the factory I think.

The mileage is shown under 24. 00 miles although I can't vouch for that but the speedo doesn't appear to have been tampered with and it does work.

The bike was imported from the States in the late 80s and was manufactured in 1997.

It runs well with no untoward mechanical noises and is quite smooth in ironhead terms.
