Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster. 1000cc 1977 I bought this in 2011 and only used it for a while. i recently got it out changed the oils put on a fresh battery. and ran it around for a few weeks. "It's just not me. " I fitted a bran new Mikuni carb. (supossed to be bees knees) It's great but reluctant to start when warm. obviously carb. needs tweeking (but not my strongest ability) Down sides rear light lense cracked. rear tyre showing wear. slight oil weep from eng. sump plug. chrome and paint is'nt concourse. but not bad for 37yr. old bike. If left standing for a while the clutch will drag for a few mls. and it will wet sump. Any insp. welcome. and any questions answered. I'm not a dealer but will be taking it to the Newark auto jumble on Sunday 16 Nov. along with a 1979 shovel i'm selling. so it can be seen and heard. Come along and make me an offer.
