Description

1973 Harley Davidson Shovelhead Zero Engineering-Inspired Chopper / BobberUnique opportunity.  I found a toy I've got to have. so I'm looking for a quick sale. This Harley features big twin motor and stock 4 speed tranny.  All with stock Harley castings.  Motor rebuilt ~2200miles ago by dealer in CT.  Comes with factory OEM frame that matches motor numbers; frame as seen in picture with hardtail. gooseneck and rake done professionally - receipt for $1100. 00 of work included.  Clean NY Harley Davidson title in my name and in-hand.  Paperwork included: NY Title. copies of all previous ownership history (titles) for last 14 years. frame work receipt and a notarized bill of sale are all included. Runs straight and can do a U-turn on a city street.  Spring seat and big tires give it a decent ride.  We have some potholes here and it does fine. Kick start tranny with BDL open belt primary.  Heavy duty pressure plate and stock clutch plates with classic open belt sound. S&S Super E carb with accelerator pump and custom air cleaner.  I'll include the classic S&S teardrop aircleaner as well. Shotgun exhaust with internal baffles.  Exhaust pipes are coated and wrapped.  Only gauge is oil pressure. Stainless steel domed oil tank. Stainless steel electric box with two copies of the round ignition keys. New battery (sealed gel). Full running lights / brake light / turn signals / hi/lo headlight / horn.  Everything electrical works. New 11. 5" stainless disc brakes front and rear. New brake pads front and rear.    Tires with super-deep tread. Starts in 1-3 kicks. idles and runs great.  Best running Shovelhead I've ever owned. Paint imperfections and all the normal stuff associated with motorcycles that are ridden and enjoyed.  Like all big purchases. it is best to see it in person before agreeing to buy.  This is not a show bike. it is not a trailer queen.  It looks good parked at Quaker Steak and Lube but looks better ripping down the highway.  It is much nicer than a rat rod but won't win any concourse trophies.  Look at the pics. ask questions. stop by for a look and listen.  Motorcycles are dangerous and you can die riding them.  This is not a beginner's bike.  If you don't know how to ride please consider buying a small (cheap) bike and taking a safety course -- it can save your life!It is insured and can be stored for free in a secure indoor garage until you are ready for it so long as the terms (deposit/payment) are met.  I cannot release the bike or title until it is paid for. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  I can drain the fluids and make the bike available for pickup.  I can help you load it on a trailer or truck.  Unfortunately I cannot crate. wrap. pallet or otherwise prepare the motorcycle for shipping. I was asked for a "cold" kickstart video.  Details: 10/8/2014 at 9:50PM in central NY. ambient temp 51F.  Hand on motor to prove it is cold as best I can prove it in a video.  Sorry for the quality but this is my first attempt at using Youtube. http://youtu. be/YbNs4rTf_h0QUESTIONS?
