1972 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH ELECTRA GLIDE

If you are looking for an old. Stock. Factory. nbsp; Harley- Shovelhead with no known aftermarket parts. then this bike is very worthy of your consideration. The value on these shovelhead motorcycles are going. up. up. up! Especially one like this example. I currently have another 72 Shovel in my collection that has been restored. I would like to sell this one to fund some of the other many Harley Projects I have. I do have a definite price in mind. Not going to give it away. If I cant get what I would like to for this bike then I slow down on my other projects and just hold onto this baby for a bit longer. I know the value of these bikes especially one as nice. original and cool as this one. When the last time you saw one of these touring bikes with all this period upgrades on it ?

Up for your consideration is my 1972 FLH Electra glide Harley Davidson motorcycle. Very nice original vintage old Harley Davidson motorcycle. Bike is 43 years old and basically stock. not like others that have modified and changed up. Bike runs very strong and has had a top end only and unleaded valve conversion right at 4500 miles ago. Transmission is smooth and all gears work as they should. Bike rides straight and smooth. Bike also has some really nice factory options that made it Harley's top of the line bike for 1972

1) Radio caddy that works but sound quality is not great compared to todays electronics.

2) Complete chrome Full Cover chain guard (the chain is fully enclosed).

3) Factory chrome swing arm and saddlebag mounts!

4) Complete saddlebag rail bumper light panels with all new bulbs and they all work!

5) Rear dresser light bar and lights all work!

6) Nice buddy seat with helper springs and dual backrest.

7) Chrome HD doo dads and badges scattered about tastefully.

8) Chrome factory option when bought new. invader 5 star wheels decent chrome EASY to clean Really nice wheels and rare.

9) Factory chrome fork legs.

10) White rubber.

All keys too! Cool air cleaner insert appears to be factory except for the badge that previous owner added. I've owned several 1972 electra glides and this one is special. It definitely draws the attention at events and local bike nights. It?ˆ™s a real cool example of a 1972 period bike. It had been hand pinstriped at some point and was removed. Sometimes at the correct sunlight angle you can notice it. The rear drum and wheel cylinder were done approximately 600 miles ago) I think maybe a master cylinder kit may be in order at some point soon. ( costs about $12. 00)
