1975 Harley Davidson SX 250

This is a 1975 AMF Harley Davidson dual-purpose bike that runs great.   The odometer shows about 4000 miles.   This was a father-son senior year project bike that I purchased from a guy in Hearne. Texas.   The bike was complete but not running.   I have the original Texas Title for this bike in hand.   New parts include an ignition switch. rear shocks. signal lights. seat cover and chain.   The carburator was rebuilt by a professional.   The paint is in mostly good shape.   There are a few minor blemishes on the gas tank and rear fender - for a 1975 motorcycle it is in very good condition.   Sale includes a Harley Davidson service manual and all parts that were removed from the bike. Work that still needs to be done are getting the lights etc. to work; tires need to be replaced; wheels need to be reconditioned or replaced; brakes need some work. wheel bearings need replaced; the front hub needs to be replaced because the speedometer cable fitting is broken - that's all I can think of. This is an as is sale of a great bike to add to a collection.   Buyer is responsible for shipping.   Preferred method is pick-up at my location. but I am willing to work with the successful bidder on a suitable arrangement.
