XLCR with Unique History

1977 XLCR (Cafe Racer) Collector's Item

Made by factory for HD Executive (now retired) and current owner

Hand selected engine from best of weeks production.

Selected for power output. minimal gear noise and overall quality.

Engine shipped to York Plant and bike started down production line for major assembly and then to engineering and environmental lab (Emission and sound) for completion. Exhaust system was sent out for black chrome finishing before assembly. The bike was then run on test track for final engine and suspension tuning.

This XLCR was operated on HD factory license plates (Wisconsin) from 1977 to 1981.

This vehicle has never been titled and is still on an open Manufacturers statement of Origin  (MSO)

Original Bill of Sale and Factory invoice and MSO provide documented proof for this rare collectible item and accompany purchase.

Bike has been gone over and refreshed. Exhaust replaced with powder coated high sheen black. original black chrome exhaust did not survive the years. however it does come with the vehicle.

Currently stored in plastic bubble with air circulation.
