2001 HONDA TRANSALP XL 650 V-Y BLUE

This is my 2001 Honda Transalp XL650. I bought the bike at the start of last year to do a 9 month motorcycle trip and have been using it as a commuter to work for the last couple of months. Like all Transalps. the bike is very reliable. comfortable. easy to ride and very competent off-road.  The bike has the following features: Large Honda panniers Oxford heated grips Mivv performance exhaust Engine bash plate Adjustable touring screen Top mounting rack Scott oiler system - disconnected Hand guards Adventure tyres 12v cigarette socket 58. 30 miles The bike has been looked after by myself with regular maintenance and I have just given it a basic service.  Transalps have the same engine as a lot of the courier bikes which often get over half a million miles.  The bike has been ridden off road and that is how the cosmetic scuffs and scrapes have come from. which are shown in the photos but mechanically the bike is sound and reliable. The scuffs on the rear fender are from where i mounted jerry cans. the front mudguard. right fender & hand guard have a split but is secure. The bike has never been dropped on the road. The bike also has pretty new Heidenau K60 dual-purpose adventure tyres.  The bikes asking price is almost half the price of pristine Transalps because it has relatively high miles and has some cosmetic damage but as I stated is mechanically very reliable. It's very sad for me to say goodbye to my bike after my big trip with her this year but i want to buy a vintage BMW R60. The bike is mot'd till March. Give me a call if your interested: 07984440486
