Honda XL400 Twin Shock ,Part Restored,RESERVE REMOVED

Welcome to my bike auction RESERVE REMOVED.

Bought this XL400 about 2 years ago with the idea to completely restore and register and ride. have partly restored as follows . ngine runs well. o smoke or funny noises so was just cleaned and painted and some rusty bolts replaced . rame. wing arm and most brackets powder coated. ebuilt with new swing arm bearings. ew headstock bearings. ew chain and sprockets. ew tyres . ear mudguard was cut about so fitted an aluminium one I had . he standard plastic front mudguard I have but is tatty (will come with bike) so fitted an aluminium one as well. prefer the less aggressive look but you can change back if you want. ll panels and tank properly painted in two pack paint in original white just needs decals of your choice(lots of possible variants on this year).

The only work still to do is to get the lights working(electrics not my strong point). lows headlamp bulbs . id not come with indicators but think wiring is present and to register with DVLA. have the NOVA paperwork from HMRC to prove all duties payed so should be an easy process. just don't have the time or the wiring expertise  to complete this project so it must go. !!!

I also have confirmation from Honda Owners Club of model and build year (see photo). The bike starts and runs well. ave ridden a little way and all seems fine.
