Honda XL250 Motosport Job Lot .Frames(with V5s) and Spares.

Please find for auction my collection of Honda XL250 Motosport parts inc 3 x frames inc V5s.

1st frame (with V5) is a bike I started to restore and the frame was stripped and power coated black . Comes with nice rims which I has stainless spokes fitted. Front forks have been resealed  etc. Brand new speedo which I won here on Ebay. Original rear shocks that I cleaned up / shot blasted the springs /Fresh paint on the springs. They seem to work fine but as you can see on the other frame are a pair of Hagon shocks so you could swap around if req. A brand new rectifier is fitted. Good Michelin Trials tyres. Nice front mudguard fitted. Original chrome handlebars.   The engine is the one in the photos and I fitted a genuine 305cc kit to it . New clutch plates fitted.   The engine has stood for a while so worth a check over before firing up. The year of this bike is 1975.

The 2nd frame(with V5) one with seat on. Is a 1975  model. This bike I used in Long distance trials with the engine from the 1st bike in it but before 305cc kit fitted. Its does come with its original engine but it will req overhaul as its a knocker. Good rims with steel spokes and again Michelin Trials tyres with HD inner tubes. New brakes shoes.

The 3rd frame(with V5) well just want it out the way. Its a 1973 and as you can see someone thought it should be tangoed (orange). There is a lower engine mount broken off but could be fixed if req. I purchased this off Ebay because it came with spares which are inc in this sale.

Spare well there are lots inc workshop manuals inc a original one plus a good old tatty one for garage use. So there is 3x Haynes manuals.  1 x original manual . 1 x original dealer set up manual. 1 x original parts manual.

Lots of gaskets. more speedos and rev counters. Exhaust systems. Various seals etc. Nuts and bolts. Most new parts are from David Silver Spares. Which is where the 305cc kit came from.

Now the reason Im selling all this lot  is Im running out of time to finish them. I have other bike interest plus a new business venture on the horizon.
