Had the bike for 3 years. selling as i have 2 bikes and now a new born baby so this one needs to go. Viewings welcome. Remus titanium aftermarket end can. nice sound. Aftermarket two fingered gold anodised brake levers. Aftermarket chain guard from Germany. Pyramid rear hugger. Mechanically very clean for age. Clean fork legs. no pitting. fork seals all good. done when i brought the bike. New Delkivic downpipes fitted 2012. still in great condition. Cleaned regularly and lives in a garage all the time. Chain and sprockets in great condition. New rear Pirelli Diablo tyre about 3 months ago. loads of tread. no punctures. Front tyre has plenty of tread left. Regularly serviced every 3000 miles with good quality oil. genuine air and K & N oil filters. 29. 00 miles. Solid engine. mechanically sound. no knocks. rattles or noises. Aftermarket Indicators front and back. Loads of receipts and MOT documents. V5. service history booklet. full service history up until i purchased it. Bike side and rear panels re-sprayed in satin black as some idiot kicked it over 2 years ago. decent paint work. (Givi rack in first pic not included in sale as i no longer have it)Very quick bike. looks nice. and the matt paint job and trick bits make it stand out from all the other stock CBR's you see around. Bike has a slight timing issue around 10. 00rpm. which i've been told by my mechanic is likely caused by a buggered ECU. Had a new wiring loom fitted as the old one had some melting around the ECU area caused by a grounded out wire. The new loom is in perfect condition but the ECU still needs replacing and is causing the timing to not fire correctly at top end. only really noticeable over 100 mph. but will need sorting. A second hand ECU and the partnered HISS lock and key system is around ?100 on eBay. SO A CHEAP FIX. This is something i would of done myself before sale but new baby means cash is short and new owner will have to do it. This is the only issue with the bike and the rest is in excellent clean condition otherwise. So a nice easy fix and then a very sweet motor for someone at a very reasonable price. Its a fast bike. looks nice. and the matt paint job makes it stand out a bit from all the stock CBR's you see. MOT ran out in October 2014. (will sail through next MOT) Bike hasnt been ridden much since then but started weekly to keep carbs clean. So will need to be taken in van or trailer. or ride away if you want to risk it.
