1998 HONDA HORNET 250 WHITE

Selling Honda hornet 250 on behalf of a friend that doesn't have an ebay account.

The bike has been well used but also looked after. The main use was commuting but for the last couple of years has been on the garage getting dusty and without not use.

As you can see. there a lot of spares that are coming with the bike as he wants to clear his garage. Also. I am giving a set of original wheels. brand new oil(around 7 litres) and the rear exhaust(sports carbon) that can be changed if you prefer a more sporty sound.

The bike has high mileage but it has been maintained at high standards. Mot expires on 13th july.

As you can see on the pictures the bike has few extras:

-Crash bung protectors

-Baglux tank protector

-Top box with rack

-wind shield/screen

-complete front end from 600 model with 17" wheel. double disc brakes and calipers. Also has braided lines/hoses and everything has been rebuild recently(forks and brakes). The front forks are from the 600 too.

-alarm and immobiliser

is also coming with:

-brand new chain and sprocket kit

-filters. air and oil

-3 pairs of part worn tyres

-rear mudguard

-plus more parts as can be seen on the images.

Now the negative bits:

-body work will need to be resprayed as it has marks all over

-speedo cable is broken but there are 1 or 2 spare ones

-tank is damage around the fuel cap but the tank cover does not allow to see that.

-front tyre is on the limit but I have 3 part worn sets that are going with the bike

-ignition lock barrel works but you can remove the key without turning the ignition off.   Worn out

-Bike has not been used in a regular basis for the last couple of years but starts first time and been ride around so the juices inside are not settle.

-few other things that I don't remember. That's why I recommend to have a look at it before placing a bid as this bike is not mine and sometimes is difficult to describe everything extremely accurate.

Remember this bike has a bit of age on it and also high mileage but the positive part is that is mechanically sound and it would be a great learning bike and bulletproof

As I mentioned before. if you want to put a bid. feel free but I will recommend to have a look at it first. All sales are final and returns are not accepted(this is not a tiny item)

I think for what you are getting it is a reasonable start price. I wont entertain offers lower than the starter price so please. don't ask.

Collection only from N3. Finchley central and cash on collection only. You will need a van to take everything away as there are loads of spares.
