Well the time has come to sell my NC30. I bought this bike in 2013 as I had stopped racing and needed a project to keep me busy. I am looking to start racing again now so I am selling this bike for some funds for the season. The bike underwent a full nut and bolt rebuild with an extensive list of new parts. I decided to have all the framework powder coated gloss black as I think this gives the bike a cleaner look. The powder coat has a very good quality finish and really makes the bike shine in the sun. Obviously due to having the frame powder coated I fitted all new bearings to the frame such as swing arm bearings. headstock bearings and also wheel bearings. A new BMW S1000RR shock was fitted however I have not changed the spring as I am a very light rider. The forks were also rebuilt including new bushes and seals. There is no pitting on the stanchions. Next up was the engine. I checked and replaced the valve shims ensuring there all within tolerance. Oil filter and oil have been changed. I decided to paint the engine block black as some of the paint was flaking and I could not find any matching paint to the clutch and gearbox covers. Only the engine block is black so the gearbox. nbsp;clutch and cylinder heads are all the original colour still. I polished all of the original exhaust system. Came up very clean with no dents in the system. Getting hard to find uncut original exhausts now. I was looking to fit a race exhaust but having rode another NC30 with one fitted I decided it was too loud so I kept the standard system on. Carbon fibre heat shield has been fitted behind the foot rest. The carbs were stripped down and rebuilt along with carrying out the tuning aspects such as drilling the slides and raising the needles slightly to increase throttle response. All new throttle and choke cables were fitted along with new carb rubbers. New aluminium radiators were fitted and I have installed mesh guards to protect them. These guards have been fitted using the neat HRC hose for spacers. Might be a bit anal getting all the zip ties facing the same way but thats how i like it! Black Samco hoses were fitted to give the bike a cleaner look still look original. The list of Titanium bolts on this bike is endless. even the side stand has Titanium bolts! You won't find any old grotty bolts on this bike. Shortly after I mot'd the bike the speedo stopped working so I fitted a low milage counter part. The new speedo reads 8155 miles. All together the bike has covered 575 miles since I rebuilt it. I don't really find it fun on the road I only enjoy rebuilding bikes or racing them. I couldn't get a moments peace when out on the bike it attracts that much attention. Bad points-Tank needs respraying to suit fairings. Right hand mirror has cracked but i never replaced it as I was trying to source original mirrors. There not genuine fairings however I do have a selection or original plastics that could be for sale at the right price. Indicators flash fast however I was again trying to source original ones. Please get in touch if you want to come view the bike. I have 400 photos on my laptop of the full rebuild. Many thanksRichard
