Here is my CBR600 for sale. It has 5 formal keepers and I have owned her for the past 3 years.
Recent servicing includes:
Oil & filter.
Coolant flush.
New K&N air filter.
New calliper pistons and seals (front).
New break pads (front and rear)
Touring grab rail. /p>
As you can see from the pictures she is in fantastic condition. There are a couple of age related blemishes as shown in the pictures. however they could be easily remedied with a little paint (paint flaking mainly on the left hand engine cover and front wheel ).
She starts first time with no bother. however she sometimes struggle to idle and can sound rough. I’ve been told that it maybe an issue with the carbs that need cleaning or balancing. but I am no mechanic. My intention was to put her on the road for everyday use. however I have since acquired a CBR1100xx. and so the CBR600 is surplus to requirements.
She does not currently have an MOT. however I’m sure somebody with a little knowledge on carbs can get her on the road in no time. It is a reluctant sale as you will not see many (if any) early CBR600 on the road in this condition. But I can only keep one bike at a time. so she must go.
