RUNS SWEET. BUT A PIG TO START WHEN LEFT MORE THAN A WEEK. NEEDS TUNE UP & A CHOKE CABLE.

in answer to questions. the bike has no M. O. T and needs recommisioning. I have just had the tank off after trying to start it & the carbs are gummy & fuel in tank has gone off. explains the drawn out starting faff when has been left.   the tyres need changing due to age and I will have to fit the new battery as old one no longer charging.   I will drain the tank & throw some fresh fuel in And update again if it does or doesn't chug into life.   compression is even in both cyl's. spark at both plugs. but sooty.
