1999 HONDA CBR 1100 XX RED Blackbird VGC

For Sale. my Honda Blackbird. I am still alive and the bike is still in one piece having gone head to head with this thing over the last 3 years. I am having to sell this as my laundry bills have been too expensive. Every time I have made minor adjustments with my right hand I would get propelled to inexplicable speeds that have caused me to get through too many pants. and rather ruined the smell of my leathers. When I bought this bike. it was simply to add a couple of inches in the trouser department. In the MCN reviews it is described as a ballistic power house. I thought this would surely count for 1 inch. I am happy to hand that inch back after three years. Unbelievable speeds can be achieved by this bike when you want to. it really is very much up there. Couple that with a comfortable position and you can literally take this anywhere.  To help me stay on this bike. possessed by speed demons. I have recently fitted new michelin road pilot 3's front and back. I haven't used them for more than 250 terrifyingly fast miles and so are in near perfect condition. This hasn't changed size during my ownership. Otherwise there is a little scratching on the front wheel plastic guard and a scuff on the exhaust pipe. Apart from that cosmetically it is in very good condition. no visible rust. all coatings still shiny and mechanically runs like a dream. (it is Honda after all). The styling has been kept as close to factory finish as possible and the powder coated wheels set the cherry red off a treat.  Considering it has done 27K since 1999 it has had a very easy life. I have had it garaged since the day I bought it and only gone out in good weather as I don't trust myself in anything marginally wet.  Considering this bike is out in the sticks of North Wales.
