honda varadero xl125v8

Well here for sale is my absolutely beloved Honda Varadero 125. She's a 2008 model and in virtually mint condition. Virtually because there are just a couple of age related marks which are commensurate with a 7 year old bike. although these were actually already present when I got the bike two years ago. I am only trying to be as honest as possible) She has a full service history consisting of part main dealer (stamps to prove) along with intermittent servicing by myself. I was once a mechanic and an airline pilot. so I know exactly how to change the oil & air filter. along with spark plugs and fluid level checking! (Not exactly difficult!) Therefore saving a fare bit of money! This bike has been extremely well loved and cared for in all the correct ways aswell as never being ridden in the wet and always garaged. She has benefited from very very recently having a brand new chain and both sprockets replaced and 2 brand new tyres fitted a few miles ago. She has covered a total of 13774 miles as can be seen in the photos. I have tried to catch all pertinent details in the pics. I fitted a genuine honda colour coded bellypan last year which not only protects the down pipe. but also makes the bike look even more fantastic than before!  also fitted  is a fender extender which compliments the bellypan in protecting and hand guards which do actually steer a lot of the ram air away from your nandies! Plus there is also a removable top box which I wouldn't have survived without! There are 2x bungie straps in the compartment under the seat. aswell as the original hand user manual in its velcro pouch and also a disc brake lock incorporating an alarm which comes with 3 keys. (Original spare bike key included still with protective blue cover on. See pics) nb. All photos taken on good quality camera so zooming in is easily possible.   I am including some oil filters and engine oil (not the tool box!) aswell as the XL125V8 Haynes Manual. I strongly believe that this is the finest specimen of this bike available on the net. Purely and simply because the bike is completely perfect mechanically and comes with many extra nice and useful bits. )She starts every single time with no more than a quick flick of the start button.  I am only selling my pride and joy because I need to go back to driving a car for work reasons. As you can see from the photos. she is very clean and well maintained. I also fitted a brand new gel battery last year which packs a punch on starting! The fuel injection system on this model really does give outstanding economic performance. I have always easily achieved about 93 MPG! Giving approx 350 miles per tank  of fuel!!  ( about ?18!)The prominent riding position is such a pleasant place to be when sat on the big comfy seat riding around. You really do have a much more commanding authority on the road as opposed to smaller bikes! you get to see and be seen much more. No one has ever believed that this bike is only a 125! As it looks much bigger!
