1998 Honda CR125

I have a very low hour 1998 Honda CR125 for sale. Great condition. I purchased the bike from the original owner. an automotive mechanic who took meticulous care of this CR although it sat in his garage. unridden for years. Upon buying it I went through the bike completely just to touch up the few issues it had from sitting for several years. The original air filter literally crumbled in my hands so I installed a brand new UNI air filter. I installed a brand new top end. Pro X piston. and Wiseco bearings. The original piston and rings were still in good condition. I only changed them out for my peace of mind. and to have a look at the bottom end which is like new! The cylinder is on it's original low hour bore. I gave it a easy honing for good measure. Clutch basket. and plates are still like new with a smooth cable pull. All new gaskets and seals were installed. Full FMF exhaust and repacked silencer. Cleaned. rebuilt and jetted carburetor. I installed new V-Force reeds. Renthal handlebars. grips and sprockets. new wheel bearings front and rear. new brake pads. new Throttle Jockey decals. and brand new TJ seat cover! Suspension shows no leakage and is set to standard factory setting. It has good Dunlop tires with about 90% tread. New spark plug. fresh SPECTRO SAE 85 oil. and coolant done with top end. This CR125 idles. runs and shifts like a new bike. This bike would make a great transition bike from 85cc motocrossers for youngsters but it still has enough gut for a grown up. It is a 2 stroke engine. so it's low cost to maintain. As with any 17 year old racing motorcycle I cannot warranty any parts on this bike. The bike is for sale locally so I may cancel this auction if sold. NO RESERVE auction!
