HONDA VTR 1000 FIRESTORM very clean original bike brake upgrade 17000 miles

1998 Honda Firestorm VTR 1000 V-Twin. Covered 17. 00 miles but will go up as in use. Very genuine. clean. original and unmolested bike with a file full of receipt's and old Mot's. the only mods being the front brake calliper upgrade and the overly large indicators being replaced with sleek clear LED's.

Mot'd until end of July 2015

Work carried out this year:

Honda Fireblade 929/ VTR-SP2 front brake calipers better than the 954's as have bigger pistons (massive improvement in power and feel over stock brakes) also with recent genuine Honda pads.

New Renthal sprockets and gold X-ring chain

Air filter

Irridium spark plugs

Valve clearance and cam chain check (both spot on)

Carbs stripped. cleaned and balanced

Recent Bridgestone 016 Pro's

Oil and genuine Honda filter

Brake and clutch fluid replaced with Castrol Racing

Front and rear brake pads

New battery

I bought this bike 18 months ago from a friend and use it every week so I've spent time and money making sure it was absolutely right as I'm a bit OCD about my bikes. Its the most user friendly. easy to ride quick. absolute hoot of a bike to ride. reluctantly selling to help finance another interest. Very sorted and is ready to ride away with nothing to spend.
