1972 HONDA SL350 K2, LOW MILEAGE

This low mileage SL-350K2 has just under 6. 00 miles on it. has been professionally serviced and restored to its original riding condition. Everything operates as designed. starts immediately. smoothly runs and idles at 1. 00 rpm. No rust in tank. ultrasonically cleaned carburetors. valves and timing adjustment. The tank and side covers were showing wear so they where repaired. professionally painted and had their decals replaced. The chrome on the wheels and spokes are virtually free from corrosion and in excellent shape. The aluminum engine side covers and wheel hubs have been polished to a mirror finish. All of the cables are original except for the new front brake cable. The exhaust is solid with no holes but does have dents that are typically found on these models. Many new parts: Tires. inner tubes. fork oil and dust seals. battery. chain. air filters. plugs. gaskets. NOS hardware. rebuilt front fender cushion mounts. front brake cable and switch. and bronze bushing kick-starter idle gear. Disassembly. maintenance and inspections completed: Ultrasonically cleaned carburetors. timing and valves adjusted. oil changed. oil filter cleaned. stripped to frame and repainted. brakes and clutch adjusted and lubricated. tank free of rust. clutch plates and friction disks are like new and on top end of spec. Included with this bike is a clear title and one key for the ignition and another for the matched lock set on the fork and seat. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and I’m willing to negotiate reasonable pick-up arrangements once payment is made. This is the third SL-350 I’m rebuilding and all three had bad kick-starters. As you can see in the last photo the kick-starter idle gear is the Achilles heal on this model. The original Honda gear has a thin sleeve. which quickly wears out creating slop in the kick-starter. The gear in this engine has a heavy-duty bronze sleeve press-fit into the gear and is superior to the original Honda design (see last photo).
