1976 GL1000 LTD

Bike is original with the following exceptions: Changed the seat that came with the bike(NOT ORIGINAL) to a Mustang. have original pegs and kick start lever. do not have the tool kit. manual or key faub. I rescued this bike a couple of years ago and it is currently a work in progress. All original chrome. new fuel pump. guages restored and calibrated by Pistol Pete. belts replaced 18 months ago. carbs synced and perform fine. new tach and speedo cables. have new choke cable. not installed. current cable works fine. original mirrors and side markers added. new fuel lines. new battery. tires at about 70%. added aftermarket dipstick. purchased and installed original skins with LTD badges in excellent shape. new headlamp assembly with side markers. Bike had set since 1998. I purchased from the second owner in 2012 with 18127 miles on her. payed the fees. Once she was roadworthy I have put another 8000 miles on her. She starts first time. every time without the choke. cruises at 70 with tons of throttle left. Get about 38 - 42 per gallon. This bike is very. very fast and in fact was the fastest production bike made in 1976. Only 2. 00 of these classics were produced. and this one was #57 off the line in March of 1976!. Unfortunately do not have the time. talent or money to completely restore her from the frame up. An LTD just sold on EBay for $5. 00 April 19th. Registration expires 11-2-2015 and Title is in my name. $500 deposit required at auctions end. There is no warranty either stated or implied. Bike is sold AS IS. PayPal. or cash only. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Bike can be picked up and driven home if preferred. It is currently a daily rider so the milage well change.
