1998 Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird

I'm the second owner of this black beauty. Her first owner was a New Jersey police officer who kept her garaged and took impeccable care of her. I bought her last year and rode her home to Texas. She came with carbon fibre mufflers and a magnetic carbon tank protector. I added soft bags and a 1" bar riser. Otherwise she is stock. This bike starts. runs. shifts. and stops perfectly. She is not a bike for beginning riders. Producing 164 HP from her 4 cylinder engine. she was the fastest production bike in the world when she came out. capable of a top speed over 180 MPH. and hitting the low 10's in the quarter mile. completely stock. With the carbon mufflers she has a sweet. deep melodious tone that reminds one of a Formula 1 race car without being obnoxiously loud. Although extremely fast. this bikes are very capable sports tourers and can handle long trips with ease. They are extremely reliable. I have had no trouble whatsover with the bike in the year I have owned her.
