2005 Honda ST1300P "Police Model"

If you've come to this bike I'm certain you are already familiar with the ST1300 Sport Touring bike- in production starting in 2003 in the United States. They feature the longitutudinally set V4 powerplant that features magnificent bottom end torque with high rpm horsepower. Fuel injected and with a large 7.7 gallon capacity tank they can travel more miles than most bikes on the market. Shaft drive catalytic converter exhaust and Hondas' integrated braking system (rear pedal actuates one set of front caliper pistons) adjustable 3 position seat for height and removable locking luggage. These bikes are reknowned for their sport bike like handling and ability to provide hours of comfort in the saddle.Now the P model deisgned for Police Departments is only available in the aftermarket and these bikes are loaded from the factory. They feature the power adjustable windscreen Anti-Lock braking system super accurate 2 mph calibrated speedometer units special lighting control for headlamps vs. running lights the feature all of Hondas' optional tank center and side pads anditional side wind deflectors (black rubber edge in pictures) that provide additional weather protection. These bikes also have the optional 1.5" bar riders which can be easily removed if a more aggressive sport bike riding position is desired. They also include the lateral LED High Intensity strobe lights four mode sirens optional chrome crash bars in rear and in front the optional chrome crash and additional light bars. It also includes the factory heated grips as seen on attached pics (control module for them) Additional lights can also be added on stalks up by rear view mirrors. The rear electronics pod can be removed and a stock rear seat pad installed if desired (not included). You would also need to remove the rear crash bars and add passenger pegs. They have been meticulously maintained by the Colorado Springs Police Department- always stored indoors and of course saw little winter duty due to icy road conditions. Almost new Michelin Pilot radial tires are installed and the battery already has leads to hook up a Battery Tender. All specified oil changes and services are performed per Hondas' recommendation which includes flushing and bleeding of brake systems. They do not scrimp on maintenance for Police Department extreme service vehicles.I have not found documentation to factory intake tract modifications for the Police model bikes- but I assure you (I own a non PD model) that something is different as the bikes have a lovely induction roar when you "get on it"- a feature I believe to aid perormance in their "Interceptor" duty in traffic. This is the only way to obtain a WHITE ST as they were never released in civilian production and I think personally they look great. Bike shifts rides and stops perfect- needs nothing recently serviced. Fly into Durango CO and I'll pick you up spend the night in our Aframe Cabin across the street- and ride home. No need for shipping with one of these bikes. Enjoy a mini-vacation and take in the magnificent mountain riding that Colorado offers.Is this bike like new of course not but it is in above average condition with only minor light scratches. Bike is sold AS-IS WHERE IS with no implied Warranties. But believe me you will not be disappointed with this fantastic ride!
