1992 HONDA GOLDWING GL 1500 GL1500 INTERSTATE

I am selling my Red 1992 Honda Gold wing GL 1500 Interstate. This bike runs great and it is the interstate model and does not have reverse. I bought it from a dealer last year but I am technically the second owner. The machine has 65481 miles on it. Please read the entire ad before bidding. This is a very low reserve auction and the bike will be sold.

Engine: I bought this bike in good running condition and I have not had to do anything to it. I was told that the previous owner had a thorough service done last year before I bought it meaning the carburetors were cleaned etc etc. The bike smokes for a few seconds on a cold start but after that it is fine. The headlight is not currently working; I have not looked into the issue. Everything else on the bike works.

Body: Cosmetically the bike is in good condition. The paint is original and it does have some scratches and scuffs. There is some paint fade on the top of the trunk and a few other misc areas. The windshield is new. The front fender does have some tape on it I assumed the fender is cracked; this is the way I bought the bike. A few small tears in the seat (Please inspect all pictures for condition). I have the cover for the radio too.

Examine pictures for condition.

Chassis: The bike rides good. The tires are in great shape. The front forks are soft but are not leaking. They could use a good oil change and possibly heavier weight fork oil. I would recommend servicing the forks before any long trips.

This bike is sold with a MA title and bill of sale in my name. The bike has the original Honda tool kit and owner’s manual.

This Bike must be picked up from Lowell MA 01852. I would like it picked up within 2 weeks. I have no problems with meeting a shipper but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made in cash upon pickup.
