Vintage Honda 1974 CR250M Elsinore Collectors Dirt Bike

Thank you for stopping by and seeing this sweet heart of a bike. I have owned this bike over 25 years. I have recently retired from the motorcycle repair business and doing only vintage bike work. I have kept this bike inside always and maintained it well. I haven't raced it in many years due to health reasons and now I am going to let someone else enjoy this beautiful piece of History! This is not amuseum piece but I am not asking a museum price. This is a bike you can be proud of to own and race and be verycompetitive! It is easy to start runs very strong and doesn't need anything except a rider and a tank of gas! It has "vintage legal" rear Fox shocks a Mikuni round slide carb with a dual stage Uni-air filter. I did some polishing on the ports and put in a Wiseco pistonto give it even more kick..(like it needed it! lol) If you want to own a piece of Motorcycle History this is the one that put Honda on the map for motocross!!! The tires chain and sprockets are like new cables and brakes are all ready to go riding or go to the track. It could use a little more clean up but I didn't want to have all the fun...I just saw another bike the same year and model as this one that says "sold" on ebay and it went for $4500 !!! Not knocking it at all but it was no where near as slick as this one!
