Description

What a great find ! This bike was a low original mile bike that sat for awhile. We found it, ought it and fixed it up for my son while he was waiting to enter the U.S. Navy. He went off to boot camp just as we began the refresh, hich included the following;Rebuilt carbs with new jets, eals, -rings and gasketsBrand new fuel peacock (hard to find)New fuel capNew rebuilt forks including refinished original fork tubes (completely re ground, eplated and refinished) this process is way more expensive than aftermarket fork tube replacement. You also retain the original fork tubes with new oil and dust seals and o-rings and fresh fork oil with new progressive fork springs.New front brake master cylinderRebuilt front calipersNew brake pads front and rearNew Pirelli sport demon tiresNew handlebars with new grips, nd throttle, lutch and choke cablesNew plugsClutch adjustment (clutch was in good shape)Valve adjustmentTiming chain adjustment and was in great shapeNew batteryAll parts were replaced with Genuine Honda OEM parts, ith the exception of tires, attery, rake pads, andlebars
Has been ridden regularly since all the work was done and runs great ! Gets lots of attention. We were going to fix the small dents in the tank and repainted with a new decal kit. Since we aren't keeping this beauty, e decided to let the new owner make the decision to leave her original or to redo the cosmetics !The cosmetic issues are as follows;Small dollar size dents in tank (2)Scratches in plastic and tankPaint faded on front fender stripeSplit on left side cover, hich will need to be repaired or replaced (should be done with paint and body work)There is a crack in the left side turn signal/headlight switch (doesn't affect it's operation)There is a seam running the length of the right side of the seat that is starting to pull apart (original seat)
I am trying to be as honest as I can, nd disclose every potential reason why the bike is not perfect ! However it looks great at 5 feat ! Gets lots of compliments, nd to find a bike in this original condition (with all the heavy lifting already done by vintage Honda experts) is very rare indeed. They are only original once !If you want to finish the small cosmetic issues, ou will have a $7,500 bike at any bike auction. I am asking quite a bit less. The reserve I have on the bike has me losing money. This bike saves you lots of money and time in trying to source all the OEM parts !
Now for the terms;$500 deposit via PayPal due within 48 hours of auction ending. You then will have 7 days to inspect or have a representative inspect the bike and pay the balance by wire transfer or cash in person. If you feel that during your inspection the bike is not as I have described, hen I will refund your deposit in full. However, f you win the auction, uy the bike without inspection, ay for it, nd have it picked up from my driveway.....It's yours !The mileage is going to increase as I continue riding the bike until it sells.
This bike is currently plated and registered in California, ith a clean title in hand !
THIS IS A USED BIKE WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED !
Good luck to all.
