History: purchased frompreviousowner in 2004 in Muscatine, owa.
Total bike miles 41559.
About 3,000 miles ago the engine had a top-end rebuild, oring out thecylindersto an 820cc capacity. The seat waschangedfrom two riders to one, he rear end was lowered about 1/2 inch,and the tailpiece modified to accept a top box, nd the brake lever replaced by a Seca Yamaha master cylinder and lever for better response.
4 High-performancecarbs and 52mm air cleaners for plenty of air.
Condition:
Dents on top of gas tank, ossibly not seen in photos; corrosion spot on gas tank exterior as seen in photos.Someoccasionalother corrosion as seen in photos.Tail light on the top box not presently wired. One of the air filters is missing, equiring the engine to need the choke partly on, o run properly. Rear tire has a leak, oing flat in a week's time. Front tire has about 1000 miles, ear tire about 1 year.
Brakes good, ew battery installed Sep 2015.
Bike has been sitting without being run since being driven and parked inside here in March 2015. Owner insists on not having it started now until carburetors are drained to preclude "old gas" problems.
The photograph of the windshield makes the lower portion look crazed or cracked, ut the camera just picked up the stress fractures of the tinting on that lower portion. In normal light it is only slightly visible, ooking nothing like the photo. CORRECTION: The tinting stress fractures ARE very visible in reflected light.
Buyer to pay by mail or deliver in person money order or cashier's check, llowing enough time to confirm the availability of the funds, efore picking up or shipping the bike, r pay in person by cash at time of pick-up.
Upon sale, wner will sign the transfer portion of the Iowa title, atisfying the Iowa side of the transfer.
