1981 Honda CB900F 900 Super Sport

1981 Honda CB900F Super Sport. Some versions are referred to as the Bol d'Or.
This one has 1982 colors but is collector titled and registered as a 1981 model year which matches the VIN for the vehicle. I identify it as a 1982 in videos because of the 1982 color scheme. This bike runs very well, s sound and has no leaks but due to the model year, ileage is estimated. This bike has been a reliable joy ride for the 6 years I have owned it and I have maintained it very well and always stored it in a dry garage. I have no need to ride in the rain, ver. Everything works on this bike.

Upgrades and Other Vehicle Notes:
-The Kerker full-exhaust system is attractive and original to the era. Since it is 35 years of age, t has some wear and oxidation but no holes or leaks. Please see the detailed photos.
-Factory airbox is replaced with four K&N brand washable air intake filters.
-The carburetors are rebuilt and unusually well dyno-tuned and jetted specifically for the 4 into 1 Kerker megaphone exhaust combined with the K&N intake baskets that are shown on the bike. That was not an easy tune but the bike now runs much better and stronger than factory original. The bike easily starts from dead cold with normal choke process and purrs like a kitten at idle but pulls very strong when demanded. Original carburetor jets available on request. -Side mirrors are lightweight bar mounts.
-Rearsets and foot pegs were lightened by upgrading to a set from a 1983 CB1100F
-Side stand (kickstand) and mount were cut off for weight loss and reconfigured to be easily removable with 2 u-bolts. (It works great but removal recommended)
-Center stand has been re-installed for convenience.
-Right side cover is factory original in good condition.
-Left side cover is a security screw-on type with matching factory colors in good condition.
-Factory Hi-Rise handlebars are replaced with moderate height "Sport" bars.
-Original throttle is upgraded to a Honda factory "Sport Kit" edition to prevent cable interference with the fuel tank.
-Front forks are re-sealed and not leaking
-Front forks are fitted with higher tension performance internal springs that vastly improve handling.(original fork springs are available.)
-Front forks are fitted with an ATK fork brace.
-Instrument cluster has a rare wind deflector that is designed specifically for this model year.
-Rear brake caliper is recently rebuilt and fitted with new pads.
-Front brake fluid was also recently replaced and pads are good with plenty of life.
-Chrome engine guards are in good condition with only light scuffs as shown.
-Rear suspension shocks are factory original and working with no visible leaking.
-Maintenance-free battery and battery tender are installed.
-Factory original turn signals are re-installed for safety and in good condition.
-Original factory seat is in good condition as shown and included.
-New oil filter is provided for the next oil change
-Original owners manual and factory tool kit are in excellent condition and are included along with a tattered Clymer manual.
-This bike is relatively easy to maintain as all fluids and filters are still readily available.
-This vehicle is sold as is with possession transferred on site at seller's registered PayPal address in Seattle.
