1975 Honda CB750 K
This is a recently completed frame up restoration. It was originally from Stockton CA where it sat in storage since 1981.
We stripped the bike down to the frame and engine and performed the following owkr.
-Frame was sanded, epainted and clear coated- looks beautiful!
-Brand new, actory correct Planet Blue Metallic paint on gas tank and side covers, s well as brand new NOS gas tank HONDA emblems and CB750Four side cover emblems
-All aluminum engine covers were buffed to remove all oxidatio
-All hardware was removed from the bike and put through a walnut shell tumbler and clear coated. Looks very clean!
-All chrome parts such as fenders, eadlight brackets, xhaust pipes were taken off, treated to remove signs of aging and rust.
-Has original 4-4 exhaust and it sounds really nice. The #1 pipe was welded at one point, hich you can see in the photos. We have been surfing Ebay waiting for one to pop up, ut it would be very easy in the future to score one for $200 or less in really nice shape and it would take 20 minutes to change out
-Steering bearings and retainers removed, leaned and re-greased
-Front disc brake system thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt, led and flushed with all new brake fluid.
-Rear brake hub was sanded out, ew brakes installed
-Brand new Shinko 712 series tires and tubes made by Yokohama
-Carburetors were disassembled, horoughly cleaned and put through the ultrasonic machine, nd rebuilt
-Front forks were taken apart, ork legs buffed free of all oxidation and cleaned out in the solvent tank to remove all old fork oil / grime; refilled with new fork oil and fitted with brand new fork oil seals
-Brand new DID brand 630 drive chain
-Brand new Motion Pro throttle and clutch cables
-New Castrol 4T motor oil and Emgo oil filter
-Brand new NGK spark plugs and plug boots
-Brand new clutch and brake levers, lutch cable adjuster and pivot bolt
-Brand new WPS 12v battery
-Ignition timing and valve clearances were checked and adjusted to exact factory spec.
-The wiring harness was removed, horoughly inspected for any exposed wires and soaked in electronics-safe cleaning solution to remove all corrosion on the connectors. ALL switches and lights operate perfectly, harging system works perfectly and the components were tested to make certain they do not get hot
-New fuel lines and fuel filters
-Final stage, ll encompassing safety check to ensure all new parts were installed correctly, LL bolts properly tightened with correct washers, and all safety locking pins and fasteners firmly in place
