Honda ct70 1970

I'm selling my 1970 Honda ct70 trail. Please see pictures for condition. It starts, uns, hifts, nd rides as it was designed to. Three speed automatic, O CLUTCH. The seat has been recovered with an aftermarket cover and pan redone beautifully before I bought it. It still has the original rubber battery cover. I broke the kick starter since I've owned it and replaced it with aftermarket. I bought this bike 3 years ago and put less than 60 miles on it. It is a great little original survivor and rider as is or make it into a show piece if you desire. What this bike needs most is to be ridden. ALL the lights work including the high beam indicator on speedo. The only thing that doesn't work is the horn. When I bought this bike I repainted the front pegs and kick stand and just polished it up and put new bulbs in it. THIS MORNING I filled it with gas, hoked it, ave it gas, icked it 2x and it started. This machine runs best at half choke. THIS MORNING I hosed off the dust, rmor-alled the seat and tires and took the pictures posted in this ad. THIS MORNING I rode it up and down our street several times, t pulled my 200 lb butt at 40 mph. When I was a kid I rode mini-bikes, y cool cousin had one of these. I bought it to relive some of my youth, 'm now 56, een riding since I was 6. I have restored many motorcycles in my life and I was a motorcycle mechanic a long time ago. I restore old bikes as a hobby. This bike has not been restored! It is a survivor, ever been restored! SOLD AS IS! Please ask questions before buying it or I welcome you to come and see it in person! Included in sale is the original battery with Honda wire plug, OS tool kit spring (no I do not have a tool kit), NOS chrome strip for top of frame/gas tank area, opy/reprint of an owners manual, n seat stencil (if you want to paint HONDA on back of seat as original).
