1980 Honda CX 500 Project Cafe Custom

A friend and I took on this project a few years ago, e made some good progress, ven got it to fire up and turn over a few times.A lot of time has passed but not much happened since that day 2 years ago.Just couldn't quite finish it. Friend moved away and I lost motivation.
The bike was entirely stripped down, ngine out and all, leaned and everything checked before being powder coated and put back together.
The Carburetors were cleaned and rebuilt with kits.
The valves were set.
No real final tuning of the engine was done as it was only fired up once for a short period of time.
The back was chopped and welded shut again before powder coating the frame.
New taller shocks were added in the back.
The front suspension was rebuilt.
Tank cleaned, lasted and clear coated.
I believe the radiator was tested and does not leak, ut honestly it has been a while.
Brakes might need to be rebuilt, ad them on and working at one point, ut again it has been a while.
Shaft drive is in good condition.
Needs a knew longer kick stand due to the taller shocks.
Center stand was removed.
Last but not least my friend had his friend re-wire the thing. This is where it all went to hell. It most likely needs to be rewired, shop near me quoted me at $600, eally not that bad.
So there it is, half done project. Would be a real pretty and fun bike if completed.

We never got close enough to completion to look into the title. I am honestly not sure where that stands, e bought this bike with 2 others in pieces for nothing off craigslist, idn't come with any paperwork.
