1971 Honda CT70 K0 Trail 70 Red Unrestored

This is a nice Candy Apple Red K0 CT70 that runs very well. It has been stored since 2008, o I replaced the carburetor with a high-quality reproduction (the original carb comes with the bike) and as you can see from the video, t starts, evs, nd idles like a ... Honda Trail 70! Shifts perfectly, lutch is strong, tarts first or second kick. No smoke from motor at all (again, ee my video). 3420 miles on the odometer. Three-speed automatic transmission.
I think this would make a fun kid's minibike, r a great candidate for a full restoration, ince it is a first-generation (made in 3/71) K0 model.
In terms of defects, ike most Trail 70s, he right handlebar is slightly bent to the rear, ut it is not at all a problem for riding. The leftside footpeg probably hit a tree root back in the day and is bent a little up. This can be easily bent back too.
I put a new rear footpeg on (passenger) and will include set of NOS original Honda rubber fork boots (the existing ones have separated on the forks).
Sold as-is with a bill of sale; I will also furnish a copy of the bill of sale I got from the previous owner.
