1984 honda xr 500

1984 Honda xr 500 nice bike complete as seen in pictures last time the bike was ridden was in june has been sitting in the garage I have not tried to start it I am too old and knees are not what they use to be with that being said it was a rider and it is not a show bike BUT its not a basket case like I said it was rode last summer as seen in pictures like cracked rear fender broken speedometer cable little things like that need to be fixed the carbs will probably need to be cleaned it has a small oil leak from cover on top of the motor and again I am not trying to kick this beast over to see if it starts to diagnose what I need to do with all this being said this is a very restorable bike that is dwindling in numbers is in better shape than described see pictures someone willing to invest some time and effort will have an awesome rider or an easy restoration my reserve is low and is worth more the some of its parts than what the reserve is I want to stress the reason I am selling whole first is its becoming a rare bike and it was ridden last summer mainly letting people know that I did not start it before listing it so simply putting gas in it and kicking it is all it needs just don't want to be responsible if it doesn't start and may need anything even as simple as what I said in description I know description is long but I rather see someone do something with it rather than me part it out buyer is responsible for shipping it is an off road vehicle so there is no title bill of sale will be provided upon request
