This bike is a survivor but it has been ridden and it is easier to point out the few cosmetic issuesthat do not affect theoperation of the bike:- minor wear on the handlebar holder where keys dangled during operation- the clear coat on the alternator is showing its age- there is a dent in the #2 down pipe (but included in the sale is a very nice replacement)- theengine paint has lightenedover the years
This is a very nice original CB900F that does not look like it is 34 years old. This is a great bike if you like to ride a vintage Honda and don't want to spend $$$ after the purchase of a used bike correcting faded paint, eplacing worn tires, rying to find anoriginalexhaust, r just taking care ofthe regular maintenance of everything that a vintage bike needs done. If you want a project then this is not your bike, f you want to ride and enjoy a classic Honda for years to come, his might be perfect for you.
Update 8-23-16- Added photos of the replacement #2 downpipe and a picture of the inside of the tank.- Noticed the 6mm hex wrench was missing from the tool kit so I added from a spare I had.
