1974 HONDA Z-50 MINI TRAIL SCOOTERCOMPLETELY GONE THROUGH FROM THE FRAME UP, TRIPPED TO AN EMPTY FRAME (SERIOUSLY, OT EVEN A BUSHING OR BEARING WAS IN IT) RESTORATION AND UPDATE.... SHE IS A BEAUTY!Looks pretty stock, ut she's not!
This Z has all the things done to it "for me". I had one of these back when I was a kid (yep, 'll be 70 coming April, 017) and sure, e'd change jets, crew around with the sprocket sizes, rill out exhaust and so on..... and basically beat the heck out of them. Several years ago I got the change ta pick up this little Z. She was a mess...literally.... a mess....but all there. (When I brought her home.... the misses didn't think I was all there... maybe not)
Anyway, his WAS GOING TO BE THE "Z" I always wanted to have my first Z to be....I know... many people are "purests"when it comes ta thisstuff... believe me, am too, ith my 1965, ed frame, L77 and my SOHC CB 750 K.... stock ta the bone.
So, n with the info on this "Z"....
Now, hat has been done here:
Frame up restoration and upgradesCompletelyre-built engine WITH a 70cc barrel, iston, ings and so on... she's a "Z-70" nowCompletely re-built transmission and auto-clutchesNew sprockets and chainNew bearings and bushing throughoutNew springs and hardwareNew brakes, ront and rearNew (not stock) fenders to handle the NEW larger tires and chrome wheelsNew (not stock, ut quiet) exhaust system... The list can go on forever.... please check out the pictures.... and hover over the pictures so they expand, nd ya can see everything real good. If ya have any questions about this Z, lease ask.
PLEASE look at the pictures CLOSELY and you will see the quality and perfection in this build..... and.....Please check out my feedbackIf ya have a question, bay email me and I'll answer as soon as I can.
I have put... maybe... 15+ hours on this Z after she was completed. I have adjusted the new clutches to work smoothly and correctly, nd chain and jetting so you won't have any issues with screamin' her down the street, he's runnin' GREAT!
The oil has been changed twice... don't like anything floatin' around in there, a never know.... so now ya won't even have ta change the oil when ya get her... just add gas and go and enjoy the ride!
There IS a small "chip"(NOT DENT) on the TANK PAINT.... the last picture shows it... thepencil pointis right by it, utya can't hardly see it, ut ya gotta know, ight?
NOTICE... NO TITLE.... I know it says "clear" in the "Title section" butE baydoes not give anappropriate option... sooo, clear" gets marked to continue the listing. Sorry about that.I will give a "Bill of Sale" only... but why would ya need a Title on a Z50 anyway???? I live in California, 50'saren't "streetlegal" here anyway...
Now... WHY AM I SELLIN' HER...Well, have done what I always wanted ta do... build the perfect Z for me. I've had her completed several years now and enjoyed the heck out of her, ut now someone else can enjoy her. I have 4 other bikes that take my attention and they keep me prettybusy, o this one needs to get a better home.By the way, am 6' 1" and weight 185 and I fit just fine on this Z, nd she pulls GREAT with me on her, eats my buddy on his CT70 hands down!!! Could probably beat his CL90... if it ran... Ha, a, aTransportation to her new home is the winners / purchasersresponsibility..This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION... if you are the high bidder, a win !
So, nyway folks, a can ebay email me with any questions ya may have, nd I'll answer as honestly and accurately as I can.... heck, oin' on 70, ome mornin's I don't remember where the darned coffee pot is.... is that crazy or what?
