Description

TRULY BEAUTIFUL. COMPLETELY RESTORED. TITLE IN HAND. Up for auction is a Gorgeous. 1971 Yamaha JT1 Mini Enduro Motorcycle.   The Yamaha JT1 is the worlds first true Mini Motorcycle. Until the introduction of the 1971 Yamaha JT1 Mini Enduro. most kids had little choice but to ride tiny wheeled. lawn mower powered mini bikes if they wanted to ride at all.   That all changed when the Mini Enduro came on the scene.   The JT1 was an almost exact. scaled down version of it's big brother. the Legendary Yamaha DT1 Enduro.   Now Junior could ride along with dad on his own "Real" motorcycle.   Complete with a 60cc. two stroke engine. four speed synchromesh transmission and full front and rear suspension. the JT1 was a real motorcycle in every sense of the word. This motorcycle has been meticulously restored.   No corners were cut and only the finest quality paint and other materials were used.   This particular motorcycle is a lighted version of the VERY RARE JT1L model. The engine runs perfectly and the transmission shifts flawlessly. Please take a close look at the pictures and I'm sure you will agree that this is truly a beautiful little motorcycle. Perfect for riding as it is or displaying proudly. About me. I have been restoring vintage Japanese motorcycles since the 70'S.   I take great pride in all of my restorations. Some of my bikes have been displayed in museums and local motorcycle shops.   The last two motorcycles that I have restored were sold to well known celebrities that drove away with smiles on their faces.   I also try my utmost to represent my restorations accurately and although I state. in all of my auctions. "No Returns". If you are not absolutely thrilled with your purchase. I will do my very best to resolve the issue and if I can't. I will happily refund your money as long as the item has not been damaged in any way. If you like what you see. make a note of my user name.   The Best is yet to come! Please feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures. I will deliver free of charge anywhere within a 300 mile radius (But not Mexico or the Pacific Ocean) of Zip 93536. When I purchased this bike from a private seller. it had a head light and lighting coil on it and I naturally figured it was an "L" model. so I installed a NOS tail light (For a King's Ransom). Upon further research. I found that according to the data base. the serial number was too high to be an actual L. So. as much as it is the exact same as an L model. I won't represent it as such. without actual verification. For all the purists out there:  I know this bike is not an absolutely perfect example of a brand new. showroom model but it is extremely close.   Yes. the stripe on the tank is about 1mm too wide and the tank badges are reproduction. There might also be one or two minor details that aren't quite perfect.   Cut it up as much as you desire.   If it's not quite up to your strict standards of quality. please do not bid and please don't email me.
