1978 Honda Goldwing Gold Wing GL1000 GL 1000 classic vintage

Amazing condition. one owner. only 35k miles. legendary time proven Honda quality and reliability. I will pick you up at the airport and you can ride it home. I don't think you will find a nicer 1978 Honda GL1000. The original owner now in his late 70's just was not riding it any more. It sat parked in his garage for over 10 years. On June 13 2013 we picked up this bike from his house and revived it from storage. I have the copy of his bill. He spent $2072. 55. We rebuilt the carburetors. installed all new original Honda float needle valves. carburetor gaskets. fuel filter. fuel hose and manifold o-rings. We also replaced the fuel petcock. fuel pump and battery. We also did a complete detailed full tune and service changing all the fluids. flushing the radiator. brake fluids. changing the oil. plugs air filter and final drive lube. We replaced the seat cover after the video was shot. The only real complaint is that the left plastic side cover has lost its tabs so we have secured the cover with screws in place where the tabs were. This is an amazing collector bike at 36 years old. It almost qualifies to be called a museum piece. This bike has no leaks of any kind. There is no exhaust smoke. The engine sounds real nice with no ticking or rattles of any sort. The bike shifts smooth and rides like a dream. This bike needs nothing except to be ridden and admired. I stake my positive reputation on your satisfaction.
