Here for sale is our beloved Honda PCX125 scooter - bought new at the end of November 2012 (I am its one owner from new) and ridden by my wife for her journey to work. It was stolen earlier in the year and recovered - we have not used it since.

Basically brand new - having only covered 4855 miles it was in mint condition until stolen - when it was recovered it had been ho-twired and the petrol cap cover had been ripped off (to fill it with petrol - it came back with more in it than when it was stolen at least!).

Still runs and rides fine - not old enough to need an MOT. No tax (currently SORN) so would need to be picked up by van or m/c courier. Currently stored securely off the road in my garden.

It turns out that I have not got the time to fix it up. and my wife has moved jobs so no longer needs it for the journey so now is your chance to bag a bargain. It really won't take much to make it perfect again

The PCX125 is an awesome little bike - because of the way the handlebars are yoked (rather than integrated like on most scooters) and due to the design of the chassis and size of the wheels it really does feel more like riding a bike than a scooter. Cheap to insure and tax. it is also great on petrol - with a "stop start" engine feature - that turns the engine off if you are idling in traffic.

From my assessment (I'm no mechanic!) - I have noticed the following damage from the theft:

Right wingmirror missing Hole in RHS fairing (where they got in to hotwire) Two stripped wires in ignition (you can still start it this way) Petrol cap cover pulled off Seat hinge broken

I rode it back from the recovery yard no problem - so I know there is nothing major wrong with it - but it is sold as seen for spares or repair - so please study the pictures and ask me anything whilst the auction is running. Bike can be seen in West London (contact me!).
