Hi.
I am selling up! starting with my lovely little Honda CD50 Benly. quite a rare little beast in this country. it has a bit of history with it hence the low-low mileage. it was owned by a large shipping company in Japan who purchased it for their chief engineer to travel to and fro whilst building a large tanker. [these are 1/4mile long]
when the tanker was complete it was left on the tanker on its maiden voyage to Rotterdam where it was sold. I have a letter from the shipping co to prove this.
It has been registered in this country so V5 present in my name showing me as the one owner. so my guess is it was never registered in Japan.
The tax & MOT has expired but never ridden since the test was issued. just sat in my shed. /p>
It has a rear metal box on the carrier and a canvas type wind shield. [not fitted]
It has some surface rust to the wheel rims plus a bit on the exhaust but may clean up with a little wire wool & metal polish. I just can't be bothered now I am 79. The paint work is fine. I have not started it in 2years but turns over easy on the kick starter.
It has the original 2 little Honda hand manuals that came with it when new but in Japanese. [English pictures though!!!]
! want £1200 for it . & that is what I paid for it. Cost a couple of hundred pounds to register it 2 years ago.
