SORRY NOW SOLD SUBJECT TO EXCHANGE

OFFER UPDATE (Will be gone by 4th Oct - Part Ex Deal Done)

£1600 for her - NO OFFERS. this is what I have been offered in Part Ex. so rather someone gets a good deal than the garage sell at a mark up - Deal must be done by 9am Saturday 4th October as I collect my new one that day

SO why am I selling. well I bought her from a mate in March for a good price. I had previously had a VFR 800fi (1998) and wasn?ˆ™t sure if I would like the VTEC (or the smile creator as I call it). having had her for 6 months and having done 7k miles on her I love the VTEC. so much so I?ˆ™m looking for a younger model. simply because next year we are doing the Swiss Alps and getting Euro breakdown cover is difficult and if found very expensive for bikes over 10 years old. her mileage by then would be closer to 75kNO OFFERS NOW ACCEPTED - I HAVE DROPPED THE PRICE TO £1600 (From £2000)

The mileage is quite high but she is well travelled. with holidays to Sweden ( a few times). Holland and 2 recent trips to the Highlands of Scotland. she does on average 200 miles every weekend around the Welsh mountains AND she loves it

She is nearly 11 years old and has covered nearly 63. 00 miles. it goes without saying that she has a few marks on her body. I have tried to capture these in some of the photos. however overall I would say she's in good nick and due to her colour stands out well in a pack of bikes. The worst of the damage is to the left hand side when she went over in a car park (could have sworn I left it in gear but obviously not as she rolled forward of her side stand). it broke the mirror and clutch lever both of which have been replaced. also damaging the crash bung. it too has been replaced. but it did scuff the side and dent the tank. The photos show the damage very clearly but in the real world you will hardly notice them :) If they were that bad I would have got them done PLUS if you?ˆ™re that bothered you can buy her a complete set of new clothes for under £300 from China.

The charge point by the seat was ?ˆ?fitted?ˆ? by the previous owner. who didn?ˆ™t realise until replacing the seat that the positioning of it was slightly out LOL It is currently disconnected but if reconnected it will allow a USB adaptor to be placed in it with the seat on! She had a new heavy duty chain and sprocket fitted in May after throwing her old one on the Isle of Skye. She was last serviced in September. having new iridium plugs. air and oil filter. The Stator and battery were replaced in August after the old one began to fail. the other common VFR failing is the Rectifier. this was replaced 2 years ago So for those of you who know about Honda VFR 800's (old and new) most the common failure points have been replaced in the last 2 years. She had Pilot 4 tyres fitted in August during her MOT. they have done 2000 miles already but due to their construction dont look like they have She sounds lovely as do all V4 VTEC?ˆ™s. she's comfortable and gets 200 miles out of her tank on a good run. I have covered all the negative points as I know what a disappointment it is when you travel to look and the owner had "forgotten" to mention the marks / damage etc. - its bloody annoying Test rides are welcome BUT before that happens you will sign a document showing when you were the rider of the bike. in case any traffic offences are committed. AND no test ride will take place unless the agreed price is in my hand in cash!! Any damage however slight caused during a test ride will make you the proud owner of this beast :)
