Vehicle overview: Hi here from my personal collection is a 2007 Honda SCV100 LEAD 100 Air Cooled 100cc 4-stroke automatic learner legal scooter/ moped. Very nice top quality scooter from Honda with only TWO owners from new. reasonably well looked after and has to be the one of the most popular and desired scooters at the moment! A reliable sporty moped/ scooter. Engine has not been messed with and is in standard form. Rides happily up-to 50mph and will achieve approx 120 mpg. I have just fitted brand new tires front and rear. A few cosmetic repairs have been carried out by myself but please be aware this bike is cosmetically untidy but solid. Fantastic engine starts first press of the electric start button or kick of the kick start lever and runs perfectly. Everything works on the bike and it rides perfectly. Sold with a new 12 month MOT certificate and a new 12 month TAX disc* so can be ridden away. Comes with key. new 12 month MOT certificate. new 12 month TAX disc*. Full V5 registration document and full purchase receipt.

Overall condition (1 being for spares. 20 being showroom as new condition) : 11. Good condition for its year. cosmetic repairs have been carried out by myself (see photos and watch the video). Good example of this bike. Very good engine with very good original Honda exhaust system which I have freshly repainted with VHT paint. Wheels in good condition. Band new tires fitted front ans rear. Seat in good condition.  

Mechanical condition: Very good. has been well looked after. starts first press of the electric start button or kick start lever. Good battery fitted. 100cc 4-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine. Plenty of power. idles very nicely. very nippy off the mark and pretty fast for what it is. will cruise at 45-50MPH. No leaks at all. Automatic choke as standard working fine. Speedo and milometer working fine. Engine starts easily and runs very well with no smoke. Very good engine.

Cosmetic condition: OK to good for its age. solid bike. I have carried out a few plastics repairs. Good and solid and requires no further attention. Good seat cover. Please view the photos and watch the video. Wheels are clean. Paintwork original.

Electrics :Everything works as it should do.

Test run: Runs and rides nicely. quick off the mark and rides like a rocket for a scooter! Touches 50MPH. Pulls cleanly. Runs and rides superb! Handles great and sounds awesome (see video).

Brakes: Good working order. Effective and predictable drum brakes at the front and rear wheel.

Suspension: Good working order front and back.

Tires: Both tires are brand new and fitted less than 5 miles ago.

MOT? :This scooter will be sold with a new 12 month MOT certificate post auction end.

TAX? :This is my scooter and will be sold with a new 12 month TAX disc*

*- As of 1st October 2014 if the buyer wishes to take advantage of having a new 12 months TAX disc included in the sale then it will be their responsibility to make the sure the bike to insured from the agreed day that the seller will arrange to TAX it from otherwise the bike will be sold untaxed with no reduction of the sale price.

I can however. share my opinion as to its appearance and mechanical condition. I always test-ride and inspect all my bikes very carefully prior to listing them.

I have a full car licence. what can I ride? If your licence was issued before 1st February 2001. then you can ride a 50cc moped/scooter/motorbike. Strangely enough. you will not need to display L plates. and you can carry a passenger if the motorcycle has a passenger seat and rear footrests. If you want to ride a motorcycle of over 50cc. up to 125cc. you must take Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). you must display L plates. and you must not carry passengers. The CBT certificate is valid for 2 years.

What if my full car licence was issued after 1st February 2001? Then you will need to take Compulsory Basic training (CBT). Once you have completed this course. you will be able to ride a 50cc moped without L plates. until your licence expires at age 70. and you will also be able to ride a motorcycle of up to 125cc with L plates (no passengers allowed) for 2 years from the date you completed the CBT course.
