1975 Honda CB550 F

I bought this as a project a little over a month ago but unfortunately I have not had much time to play with it. Has 26981 miles on odometer. S/N is CB550F2000068. Manufacture Date says 3/75 Model says 1976 on the frame.

The good

I am not a motorcycle expert as this was my first one but it seems to run and shift great. Also had two experienced riders in the neighborhood take it for a spin and both said it runs good. Carburetors just rebuilt and adjusted. Dyna electronic ignition. new mirror. new starter relay. new tail light. new plugs. new air box boots. Front Signals and headlights work.

The bad

No Title.   I do not have a title for this bike. I only chose clear because it didn?ˆ™t give me an option to choose none. You will be provided a Florida DMV Bill Of Sale just as I was. I am not sure the process to get a title but the Florida DMV advised me that this was not listed as stolen and was last transferred from Florida to New Hampshire in 2009. I also thought of buying a frame with title and moving everything over. There is one listed on Ebay right now for $200. 00 so if your that mechanically inclined then this may be an option for you.

Needs starter clutch or starter fixed. Starter spins when button pressed but won?ˆ™t turn the engine over so this has to be kick started. Tachometer does not work and from what I can tell it is not the cable or tach but somehow where it goes into the block something is missing or broken. They plugged the hole with a rubber stopper for now. No rear turn signals. New Tail light but wires were too short so need to be extended to plug in. original tail light will be included. Horn works but was disconnected cause it sounds like mee meep (apparently yelling gets a better response) but it will be included. Rear foot pegs were removed but will be included. Front brake squeaks but seems to work just fine. Needs four hose clamps for the new Air box boots. Seat was shortened in the back so you may have to have that finished with foam etc. if you want a better look.

I will not ship this but can help your shipper load it if needed.
