MG TC 1949 in excellent condition

For sale is my 1949 mgtc which I have owned since 1998. It ha sbeen kept in a dry garage and I have only used it for 719 miles. Myself and my wife are much happier on an old motorbike for our leisure/hobby rides out and so. reluctantly. the time has come for the car to be sold.

The engine /chassis numbers are matching. The car was subject to a full restoration round about 1985-1988 but there is no documented work on the engine which starts first time and uns a good oil pressure. The wood looks new. There is a file of receipts including a new petrol tank. rear wings and front apron. The hood is in good condition as are the side screens which are not shown in the photographs.

I have replaced the water pump and hoses. installed a  "factory" wiring loom and a reconditioned clutch bell housing with new bushes for the clutch actuating spindle. I recently fitted a front panhard rod. The car is in excellent condition and everything works as it should and will hopefully get more use with a new owner.

Minor niggles include a respray which was presumably performed as the car was rebuilt. the tub is a slightly different shade of red. The tyres have good tread but are old and the spare tyre needs replacing. Although the badge bar was new in 1988 it ha spoor chome. There is no hood or tonneau cover.
