1973 HONDA C70 72cc RARE ORIGINAL CONDITION, LOW MILES! RESTORATION PROJECT

Here we have my late stepfathers 1973 L reg Honda C70 Motorbike. It's been stored in a garage since 1984 and is in rare original unmodified condition (it's even got the original Honda toolkit that came with the bike). One owner from new. I have the V5. owners manual. service book. a few old MOT's and the original bill of sale. It has one key that fits the ignition and helmet lock and has only covered 8300 miles from new. It starts and runs. although you have to give it a bit of throttle to get it to tick over (I think the timing and carburetor need adjusting for unleaded fuel). The tyre's  hold air but will need replacing due to age related cracking. the brakes seem to work okay. Please be aware that there is NO tax or MOT on the bike so you will need to collect it in a van/ trailer. There is a small amount of light surface rust but nothing major. The plastic leg guard has a small crack adjacent to one of the mounting points and is missing a Honda badge. The bike will be an easy winter restoration project for somebody.
