Classic Honda Goldwing GL 1000

Honda Goldwing GL 1000 (1976)

I bought this approx. 12mths ago as a Winter project unfortunately apart from getting started I haven't had time to do much else.

I bought a new oil filter and plugs but still haven't fitted them

The bike has been stood a few years hence the battery is now flat. may charge but not sure

The bike starts with electric start however runs very erratic

I think its the carburetta that needs cleaning due to old fuel

Previous owner said it runs fine. all gears worked and clutch prior to being stood

Front break is sticking so will need reburb

Good back tyre. front tyre will need replacing for MOT

Seat in good condition

High rise handlebars fitted and front screen which is smoked glass

Comes with back rack and other parts shown in the photo

Also I have the mirror and 2 indicators

Still has coolant in the radiator

Chrome work on mudguards are slightly pitted other chrome parts may need painting or re chroming

All lights. indicators and horn worked prior to been stood

Selling as a restoration project or spares/repair

Comes with key and logbook
