Honda CX650 1983 vintage Honda street bike AHRMA ACR CX 650 antique motorcycle

This is a 1983 Honda CX 650. The engine runs excellently. shifts perfectly and clutch engages and disengages perfectly. All vital electronics work fine- Head light. signal lights. horn & brake lights. The bulb that illuminates the tachometer needs replacing. NOTE: If you search FB for Vintagekingmotorsports you will find a video of it runningIf you are looking for a museum piece or NOS this is NOT for you! If you are looking for an older bike in good shape that needs a few small things. this IS YOUR ticket!!Give it to me straight. what does it need??1) The exhaust is not original and is pretty loud. You may like that sort of thing and if you do. well your all set!2) The tires need to be replaced3) the clutch lever ball end is broken and I am not sure it is the correct lever. although it works fine4) The choke cable needs replacing. The choke is accessible by pulling it manually but really the cable should be replaced5) The paint is pretty darn UGLY! If you were to attend to the other few things it needs AND have it painted it would certainly turn heads everywhere you go!The good. 1) Overall very good mechanical condition2) engine runs great and is ridiculously torquey!!I was amazed at how FAST this machine is!3) gets very good mileage!

4) Battery is brand newIt is a bit of a survivor that with a little cosmetic help and  few minor repairs ( tires etc  as listed above ) would provide you with ENDLESS miles of happy freedom filled riding!!We welcome anyone with an interest to come check it out in person. poke and prod!!
