 I JUST SOLD THE TWIN TO THIS BIKE (430CR). AND THIS XC BIKE IS IN MUCH NICER CONDITION.

I like restored bikes as much as the next guy. If you guys know who I am then you already know that I've got a BUNCH of restored bikes. But. I do really enjoy finding all original bikes. They're honest. They don't lie. What you see is what you get. And. what you get is a bike that hasn't been pounded into the ground and then resurrected into a trailer queen by throwing a zillion $'s at it. That's what we've got here.

This would be the LAST YEAR of that true vintage Husqvarna look with the painted metal tank & clear knee areas.  1983 would be basically the same bike but everything got painted white. blue. & yellow.

430 Huskies are an excellent blend of open class horsepower WITHOUT the brutality of the 500cc bikes. Most racers actually preferred these to the 500's just because they were FASTER around a motocross track. Easier to ride. and the power hooked up better without a ton of excess wheelspin. etc.

What can I say? All original Husky motocrosser. No issues. Race prep it and go race it. Superb 40mm forks don't leak. Best in the world Ohlins shocks don't leak. Motor does not leak. Dual leading shoe front brake. Akront rims gold anodized and in very nice condition. Tires are excellent. Mikuni carb. Aluminum tank is excellent with original paint. Original pipe & silencer are excellent. Looks like it's had a skid plate on since day one so the lower frame rails are excellent with no issues. Original plastic fenders. side panels. number plates. Original seat cover. Original bars. Original Magura controls. This is a LARGE powerful motorcycle built for the expert level. nbsp;taller rider.

Only issue I can find is that there is a crack in the original rear fender. See photos.

This bike has NOT been restored. What you are looking at is 99% vintage Swedish Husky.

Excellent compression and spark. Starts easy and runs strong. Bike has been sitting for a long time and should run after YOUR RACE PREP prior to riding or racing it. Bike will possibly need typical service of: oil-filter-carb cleaning before riding or racing it.
