1983 Husqvarna 500 XC CR WR - Two Bikes!

The 1983 Husqvarna 500 XC and CRs were some of the mostmagnificent off road race bikes of the golden years. The XC was typically used for cross country, nduro, nd motocross. In Europe it was common for XCs to be equipped with lighting kits but those were more rare in the US.This bike came from a restoration shop that is no longer in business. It is a partial but nearly complete restoration with many new parts. Side panels are not mounted and need vinyl plus several small pieces like the plastic fork stops are still needed. Forks were gone thru but shocks still need to be done. The tank is in near perfect shape and has no bondo or filler.Frame was blasted and powdercoated. Bars are original Husqvarna bars and buyer can opt for the original 83 kickstarter if form ispreferredoverfunctionality. ! Also, lmost all new plastic, lus newair cleaner, ew rear tire, nd more.
Most people would not want to race this bike and risk damaging a tank that is worth something near $1,000 and could probably never be replaced. Call it one to show and one to go.
