Description

Husqvarna 1974 250WR Great Condition & Completely Rebuilt

I am asking $2500.00 and I'm solid on that price; no best offers, o trades; I am selling this bike because I have 8 motorcycles and need to make room

I rebuilt this bike with the goal of staying as close to original as possible plus I wanted to enjoy it and ride it; this is not a "show bike" or "garage queen" it is fully functional and I've gone over this bike from front to rear. My goal when rebuilding, s with all of my Husky's, s to bring the bike back to life as it was back in the day, his means I used BUFO bolts wherever possible, used correct parts or period-correct (Preston Petty, i-Point, alcolm Smith Racing); the swingarm is the longer one used on 1974 Mag's which gives the rear a couple more inches of travel, nd I put a larger 400 Husky front brake drum on the bike. I did not over-restore the bike, did not powdercoat the frame, ou won't see parts from a totally different year and model being represented as original, did not put a Mikuni on it, am not being marginally truthful by telling you "it has good compression and goes thru the gears"--it fires right up and is fast on track or trail with no issues. This is an honest bike from an honest seller.
The bike is AHRMA legal and is currently green sticker registered; pink slip in hand
I am selling the bike with the orange tank, will sell the Hi-Point tank to the person who buys the bike if they are interested (for $325.00) and I will sell the 2nd complete motor to the purchaser for $375.00. I am not interested in selling these two items separately to anyone but the buyer of the bike. The steel tank is from 1972 400 or 450 and is original orange color with a dent on the left top side; the motor has been rebuilt and only needs piston installed to be fired up.
This is list of what was done:
-completely rebuilt engine, ew (NOS) factory piston and ring, ore and hone, ew wrist pin, mall piston bearing, ll new clutch plates, ebuilt Bing 1/36/106
-new seat cover, ew coil, ew NJB MX Expert rear shocks, ew front and rear fender, ll new cables, ebuilt front forks, ew air cleaner housing (I have the original plastic air cleaner which is included), ew Preston Petty headlight and 6V voltage regulator, eriod-correct skid plate, ew brakes and drums have been arced
-all Magura controls
-new Dunlop tires and rim strips
-exhaust has been cleaned of all residue and new packing installed
-new hour clock--bike has 30.4 hours on totally rebuilt engine
