1983 Husqvarna 500 XC Vintage Racer AHRMA

We restored this Husky using as many of the original parts as possible. This bike had very little use and had been stored inside for years. The owner would change oil in the gearbox and fire her up every once in awhile. It had a cracked fender and faded side panels but still had the original Trellborg tires on front and back. We decided to do it a little more custom than stock so we powdercoated the frame and swingarm. Bead blasted the cylinder and head. Checked all piston, ing and crank tolerances and they showed no signs of major wear. We had the faded Nordisk rims stripped and re-anodized. New spokes and nipples all done by Dubya Wheels. The suspension was totally rebuilt and setup for 185-200 lb rider by AHM Factory Services. We repainted the tank and put correct decals and plastics. All major nuts bolts and harware including footpegs, otor mounts, edal, hifter have been Nickel Cad plated. Also has brand new rubber where needed including tires. We do not have the original title but bike has no back fees and is out of the system.Bike is ready to go in a show collection or hit the dirt! She fires right up and screams. This is a really fast bike that is very controllable. Six speed transmission.We can ship this bike to any civilized country!
